Summary. You can play the App without creating an account and without giving us your name, email address, or any other contact details. Your game progress, statistics, and settings are stored only on your own device and are never sent to us. The App shows advertisements through Google AdMob, which processes device information and advertising identifiers in order to serve and measure ads. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland), you are asked for your consent before personalized ads are shown, and you can change or withdraw that consent at any time. The App is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older.
This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the App on Android and iOS, why it is processed, the legal bases we rely on, who receives it, how long it is kept, and the rights you have. It is written to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR, and it also addresses the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and applicable Apple App Store and Google Play requirements. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.
The controller responsible for the processing described in this policy is:

For advertising, Google (Google Ireland Limited for users in the EEA/UK/Switzerland, and Google LLC elsewhere) acts as an independent controller and/or processor of the advertising data it collects through its AdMob SDK, as described in Section 4. We do not receive, and cannot access, the identifiers or ad-interaction data that Google processes.
The App stores the following locally, in the App’s private storage on your device. This information is not transmitted to us and we cannot access it:
Because this data exists only on your device, it is deleted when you reset it in the App or uninstall the App. Since we never receive it, we cannot restore it, transfer it to a new device, or delete it remotely for you.
The App is free and is financed by advertising. We use Google AdMob to display banner, interstitial (full-screen), and app-open advertisements. When an ad is requested, the AdMob SDK — operating under Google’s own terms — may collect and process:
Google may use this data to serve ads, measure their performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and — only where you have consented — to personalize the ads you see. For details, see:
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the App presents a consent form (Google’s User Messaging Platform, a certified consent management platform) before personalized ads are served. You can:
| Processing | Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Personalized advertising via AdMob | Showing ads tailored to your interests; funding the free App | Consent — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, given and withdrawable through the consent form (Section 5). |
| Non-personalized (contextual) advertising, frequency capping, ad measurement | Funding the free App with ads that do not use behavioral profiles | Legitimate interests — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (financing a free app); consent where required by ePrivacy rules for device access. |
| Fraud prevention, security, technical delivery of ads | Detecting invalid traffic and abuse; keeping the ad service secure | Legitimate interests — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. |
| Responding to your support or privacy requests by email | Handling questions, complaints, and rights requests you send us | Legitimate interests — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; legal obligation — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR for rights requests. |
Storage of statistics, preferences, and saved matches happens only on your device, under your control, and does not involve any transmission of personal data to us.
| Permission | Why it is needed |
|---|---|
| Internet / network access | Required solely to load advertisements and the consent form. The game itself works offline. |
| Notifications (optional) | To show local reminder notifications you can enable. Denying it does not affect gameplay. |
Advertising ID (Android AD_ID) | Used by Google AdMob to serve and measure ads (Section 4). You can reset or limit it in device settings. |
| App Tracking Transparency (iOS) | Asks whether the advertising SDK may use the IDFA for personalized ads. Declining does not limit gameplay. |
| Vibration | Optional haptic feedback during play. |
With your permission, the App can schedule local reminder notifications on your device (for example, inviting you back to an unfinished match). These are generated entirely on your device; no notification content or schedule is sent to us or to any third party. You can disable them at any time in your device’s system settings.
The only third party that receives data through the App is Google (AdMob and consent management), as described in Section 4. Google may process data on servers located outside your country, including in the United States. For users in the EEA/UK/Switzerland, such transfers are protected by safeguards recognized under Chapter V of the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, an adequacy decision including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We do not share, sell, or disclose personal data ourselves, because we do not hold any.
Because we do not hold personal data about you on servers of our own, most requests concerning locally stored data are satisfied by using the in-App reset or by uninstalling the App. In addition, subject to the conditions of the GDPR/UK GDPR, you have the right to:
To make a request, email support@clearbytedev.com. For advertising data collected by the AdMob SDK, Google is the party that holds the data; you can also use your device’s ad settings and Google’s own privacy controls (such as Google My Ad Center), and we will assist where we reasonably can. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we respond within the time limits set by applicable law (generally one month under the GDPR). You will never be treated less favorably for exercising a privacy right.
For users in the Republic of Türkiye, the processing described in this policy is also subject to the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information about such processing, to learn its purpose and whether it is used accordingly, to know the third parties to whom it is transferred in Türkiye or abroad, to request correction or deletion, to object to results produced exclusively by automated analysis, and to claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing. You may direct these requests to support@clearbytedev.com and, where applicable, complain to the Personal Data Protection Authority.
We do not collect or hold personal information about you ourselves and we do not sell personal information for money. The AdMob SDK’s use of advertising identifiers for personalized/targeted advertising may qualify as “sharing” or a “sale” under California law; you can opt out by declining consent/tracking as described in Section 5 and by using your device’s ad settings. California residents also have the rights to know, delete, and correct personal information, and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights. Contact us at support@clearbytedev.com for assistance.
The App is intended for and directed only at persons who are 18 years of age or older. The App is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please do not use the App. If you believe a person under 18 has used the App and that personal data may have been processed as a result, please contact us at support@clearbytedev.com so that appropriate steps can be taken, including working with our advertising partner where relevant.
Local data is kept in the App’s private, sandboxed storage on your device and is protected by the operating system’s app-isolation model. Communication with Google’s advertising services uses encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections. Because we do not operate servers that hold your personal data, the most common data-breach risks do not apply to your gameplay data. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to this very limited processing are in place.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when the App, legal requirements, or third-party SDK behavior changes. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. For material changes we will provide more prominent notice where reasonably possible (for example an in-app notice). Continued use of the App after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy to the extent permitted by law.
