This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed in connection with the Domino mobile game (the "App"), developed and published by ClearByteDev ("we", "us"). For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the data controller is ClearByteDev. By using the App you accept the practices described in this policy.
The App does not require you to create an account, register or sign in. We do not ask for directly identifying information such as your name, e-mail address or phone number.
Your game settings (language, sound, vibration, tile set, table color) and your game progress (statistics, achievements, rank points, daily streak) are stored only on your own device. This data is never transmitted to us, is not uploaded to any server of ours, and is permanently deleted from your device when you uninstall the App.
The App displays advertisements through Google's AdMob service. In the course of serving ads, Google and its advertising partners may process the following categories of data under their own privacy policies:
This data is collected and processed by Google, not by ClearByteDev. For details, see the Google Privacy Policy and how AdMob uses data.
Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent form when the App is first opened, through which you can grant or refuse consent to personalized advertising. On devices where it applies, the operating system's app tracking permission dialog is shown as well. You can withdraw your consent at any time via your device settings (resetting the advertising identifier / disabling tracking permission).
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes. Apart from the advertising service described above, the App does not transfer your data to any other third party.
Google's advertising services may process data on servers located outside the European Economic Area (e.g. in the United States). Such transfers are subject to the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Data stored locally remains on your device until you uninstall the App. Data processed in connection with the advertising service is subject to Google's own retention policies.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection with regard to your personal data (Art. 15-21 GDPR). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in your country of residence.
To exercise these rights, contact us at support@clearbytedev.com. For data processed by Google in connection with advertising, you may also address your request directly to Google.
The App is intended for users aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that data relating to a person under 18 has been processed, we will take the necessary steps to delete it.
Appropriate technical and organizational measures are applied to protect data. Since your game data never leaves your device, its security largely depends on the security of your device itself.
We may update this policy from time to time. In the event of material changes, the current version will be published on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the App means you accept the current policy.
